Terrible Customer Service When Attempting To Exchange Faulty Product

WORST Customer Service Experience in my life! At SHOE DISCOUNT in Sandweiler, I bought a pair of boots that are very comfortable. The problem is that the "leather" started peeling on the inside heel of ONE of my shoes after a few days. I really like these shoes but felt that I should exchange them as they should not be doing this after only a few days. I was within the 14 day exchange period according to their receipt. The store clerk told me that it must be something that I did, that I must have them next to a heat source. The more I told him that, no, there is no heat source and it is not something I did myself, the more he insisted it was me. He even told me they have an "expert" that could look at the damage and see what I had done (!?!). The clerk also repeatedly said that they "cannot except everything back." After 10-12 minutes of going in circles and of me saying how inappropriate it is for him to continue to blame me, he told me I would have to come back Thursday and speak to the store manager who, he says, only speaks French. I asked, "What is your managers name?" He would not tell me. I asked him what his name is. He would not tell me. I asked him when the manager would be in. He refused to tell me. He actually said, "I am not going to tell you." I advise you not to shop there anymore because of this experience. They do not stand by their customers at all.
