I moved to Luxembourg in June and a week later traveled to Canada. I bought a data package and kept my mobile on airplane mode whenever I left my parents house. Unfortunately there was a glitch with my parents home router and it accidentally kicked off the wifi and began taking on roaming charges.
I returned to Luxembourg with a 560 euro bill and was quite distraught! I was told that if my mobile reached my data package I would just lose my data package for the month and not to worry. Needless to say I don't have the money and the company would not lesson the bill. They told me I could pay over the two month period instead. This is unacceptable and not a welcome to Luxembourg type of scenario. I want to leave this company for the customer service and the way I've been treated... but I signed a two year contract! I'm sure this has happened to others and something needs to be done to prevent this from happening to other people as well!
